Electrical Engineer

Join Lockheed Martin's dynamic team working on the cutting edge of aerospace technology, specifically supporting the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program. As a key member of our Electrical Engineering team, you will: Develop electrical engineering drawings, including schematics and cables, in support of F-35 PTD (Pilot Training Device) programs Design, develop, and integrate test programs to be executed on Automatic Test Systems Analyze electrical designs, including electrical schematics, cable drawings, and supporting electrical documentation Perform failure analysis on electrical systems Develop and manage the engineering product structure Create Hardware Engineering cost estimates related to electrical engineering tasks Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Architecture, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Operations, to ensure seamless integration Ensure all hardware development procedures are followed, and applicable engineering reviews are conducted Note: This position will require the selected candidate to have an active Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 or more years of experience Experience working with schematic and cable design Experience with EPDM (Enterprise Product Data Management) Experience working with product teams and internal customers Extensive electrical design experience including: System network & video, System I/O (Input/Output), System Power Desired Skills: Familiarity with F-35 Pilot Training Devices (PTD) or related training systems Experience with hardware design process Previous work using Zuken E3 as a model-based design tool Knowledge of Agile Development Processes Experience using problem solving skills to resolve technical challenges Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
