Overview

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supports the business operations of State agencies through information technology services, including project delivery, maintenance, and support. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB supporting the Departments of Attorney General (AG), Department of Transportation (MDOT), Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO), and the Governors Office. This senior?level position is responsible for designing, developing, managing and administering agency Customer Relationship Management systems, including Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce platforms. Activities include verifying the architectural integrity of the application environment, recommending solutions based on technical impact analysis for proposed infrastructure changes to ensure feasibility and cost effectiveness, and developing and managing configuration management standards, processes, and policies. The individual will provide technical support to other team members and evaluate new agency applications and tools. View the position description here: ITPA 12. The office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out-of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department currently offers a hybrid work option requiring two days on?site and three days remote per week. Policy Notes

Information Technology Programmer/Analyst 12: Possession of a Bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics. Experience

Information Technology Programmer/Analyst 12: Two years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11. Information Technology Programmer/Analyst 12: Possession of an associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in computer science, information assurance, data processing, computer information, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, IT project management, or mathematics and two years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician; or two years (4,160 hours) of experience as an IT Student Assistant may be substituted for the education requirement. Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and four years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, information technology technician, or four years (8,320 hours) of experience as an IT Student Assistant may be substituted for the education requirement.
