Material Planner

The Materials Planner primary job objective is to accurately plan and schedule all materials consumed during the manufacturing processes. This includes all raw material processing, packaging components, and purchased items to optimize inventory levels and materials availability to execute on the company's strategy. Responsibilities

Creating detailed schedules for the procurement and delivery of materials based on production needs and inventory levels. Monitoring current stock levels, identifying potential shortages or overstock situations, and adjusting plans accordingly. Monitoring supplier delivery performance and taking corrective actions as needed. Working closely with production teams to ensure materials are available to meet production deadlines. Addressing any material shortages, delays, or quality issues that may impact production. Preparing regular reports on material planning activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance. Analyzing data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and optimize material planning processes. Essential Skills

Bachelors' degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience. Experience with Cloudsuite Industrial ERP system and planning software, preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Microsoft Access skills a plus. Embraces change, challenges status quo and makes recommendations for improvement to processes. Ability to prioritize and to focus on details with attention to accuracy and deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings effectively. The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
