Civil Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to lead and support production and design efforts for aviation, commercial, residential, and mixed-use land development projects. The role involves designing site layouts, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility systems, as well as preparing and reviewing construction documents and cost estimates. Responsibilities: Design site layouts, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility systems. Prepare and review construction documents and cost estimates. Prepare improvement plans, specifications, and permit applications for commercial development projects. Essential Skills: Proficiency in Civil 3D. Expertise in site layout and site design. Experience in civil engineering, land development, and site development. Knowledge of grading and drainage design. Possession of an EIT with plans to obtain PE within 12-24 months. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in preparing improvement plans and specifications. Ability to handle permit applications for commercial projects. Work Environment: This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work up to 2 days a week once training is complete. The role involves occasional site visits with clients. You will be joining a dynamic team of 5 engineers, with plans to expand to 12, providing ample opportunities for upward mobility toward project engineer and project manager roles. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to hire position based out of Greenwood Village, Colorado. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.27/hr.
