Inpatient Pharmacy Intern
Exciting opportunity to join Henry Ford Health as an Inpatient Pharmacy Intern and work alongside our staff Pharmacists, making an impact on patient care. General Summary: Location: Detroit, MI (Moross) Perform the duties of a staff pharmacist under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Under direct supervision, maintain proper narcotic documentation and ensure proper distribution of narcotic medications. Under direct supervision, ensure appropriate selection of dosing, administering and monitoring of medication. Dispense medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas. May compound medications. Assist pharmacists with maintaining and monitoring patient profiles. Provide medication information and education to medical staff and patients.
