The Associate Retirement Plan Solutions Specialist plays a key role in approving new business and existing business for the Retirement Plan Solutions team. This position supports the approval and maintenance of group retirement plan accounts and requires effective communication with advisors, recordkeepers, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is adaptable, eager to learn, and a self-starter. Success in this role requires the ability to collaborate effectively and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic environment. The analyst will support these efforts by adhering to established processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Core Responsibilities
Play an entry level role in ensuring Cetera Financial Group’s ERISA/retirement plans fiduciary programs continue to conform to set guidelines. Comply with processes and procedures of the team, including regulatory requirements. Provide day-to-day operational support of CFG fiduciary programs, ensuring accuracy, key metrics, and SLA’s achieved. Responsible for daily process of work associated with CFG’s retirement plan fiduciary programs, including new account set-up and maintenance. Facilitates agreement review and ensure alignment with outside vendor data. Provide program support, including onboarding of new advisors Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers via email in a timely fashion. Strong communication skills with advisors, vendors, and internal teams. Ability to communicate clearly in written format, including the ability to document decisions made effectively by program management, with supporting rationale. Provide feedback and contribute to improving the overall fiduciary program experience. Ability to distinguish multiple firm-specific versions of agreements and forms, recognize similarities and differences across firms; and to apply knowledge of each, as appropriate. Experience with employer sponsored retirement plans. Experience working with recordkeepers or broker-dealers Minimum Required Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 1-3 years of financial services experience Travel Requirements

The base annual salary range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
