Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an HR Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an HR Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the Human Resources Department supporting employee relations and payroll activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, adaptability, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. This position is temporary for 3-4 months but could possibly be more.

Location: Ottawa, IL
Pay Range:
$22/HR
Shift:
7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
Manage all aspects of the attendance policy to ensure compliance and accuracy
Oversee the probationary review process for new employees
Handle all facets of the hourly payroll function, ensuring timely processing
Maintain Human Resource Information System records and generate reports from the database
Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent
3-5 years of experience in Human Resources or Administration, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong payroll background and knowledge of UKG
Familiarity with applicable State & Federal Employment Laws
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Pass a 7 year background check
Pass a drug screen
