PSE'sIT Infrastructureteam is looking for qualified candidates to fill anopen IT Facilities Infrastructure Engineer position!

Job Description Designs, develops, secures and maintains the physical infrastructure, network, and layout of Data Centers, Communication Rooms, DC Plant and IT infrastructure for PSE Facilities. Supports architectural framework for servers, hardware, switches, cabling, wiring, batteries, peripherals, connections and connectivity. Follows standards and guidelines. Ensures adequate HVAC, power, battery supply and bandwidth to maintain target environment for all IT hardware in Data Centers, Communication Rooms and IT infrastructure for PSE Facilities. Performs reliability testing and assists in planning emergency or disaster procedures. Works under guided supervision and small to medium simple projects.
Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.

Provides standard document template for Data Centers, Communication Room, DC Plant and IT infrastructure for PSE Facilities as-builts
Determines requirements and provides design for generator and UPS systems
Designs and provides documentation of Telecom room rack and equipment assignments
Implements Data Center, Communication Room, DC Plant and IT infrastructure for PSE Facility standard according to established plans, designs for room layouts including network, voice drops, racks, power, battery, UPS, cabling, wiring, space, cooling and AV/conference room technology
Implements less complex technology solutions
Serves as a skilled technical resource for technologies which may span the enterprise. Participates in complex troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis
Works with various vendors to maintain equipment including firmware, service packs, security patches, etc. to ensure the maximum performance, security, and availability of the systems
Applies defined technology solutions to requirements and has an understanding of some infrastructure architectures
Implements new systems, tools, and techniques
Advises on selection of technology purchases
Understands and follows standards, guidelines, and policies for the use and integration of technology
Participates in capacity planning, system installations, upgrades, and other maintenance activities for enterprise and departmental systems
Reviews the environment and proactively implements changes to reduce problems and work stoppage
Analyzes performance indicators for system components. Changes system software and parameters to ensure maximum system operating efficiency and availability as directed
Updates/creates system documentation that may affect multiple teams
Provides input to improve relationships with business partners and vendors. Effectively manages day-to-day relationships with professional peers and other team members
Works with IT personnel across all segments
Estimates resources and costs for small to medium projects
Operates under moderate direction
Performs other duties as assigned
As part of the IT Workforce Architecture Project, assigned level P2.
Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) year degree or certification in a technology-related field or equivalent combination of education, work experience or relevant military experience, and at least one (1) year of experience in related field.
Solid experience working in Data Centers and/or Communication Rooms and/or IT infrastructure for Facilities
Solid experience working with IT infrastructure and hardware in Data Centers and/or Communication Rooms and Facilities and/or DC Plant
Solid power knowledge related to Infrastructure Facilities
Solid cooling knowledge related to Infrastructure Facilities
Solid experience in Data Center and/or Communication Room and DC Plant system monitoring
Solid experience in Cable and Wire Management
Solid experience in Audio Visual/conference room technology
Solid experience with participating in projects in a cross-functional environment
Must possess excellent organizational skills and demonstrate attention to detail in documentation
Self-driven and comfortable bringing ideas to the table
Good teamwork and written and oral communication skills
Desired Qualifications
Undergraduate degree.
Customer centric focus with demonstrated ability to apply insights to meet customer technology needs and improve IT maturity.
Proven experience working independently and/or in a team environments to deliver on initiatives.

The pay range for this position is$75,200.00-$132,100.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
