Job Description Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Seattle, WA
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)
Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position requires critical care experience within the last 12 months, with a strong preference for professionals willing to work during the Christmas holiday. Candidates with pediatric experience are preferred but not required, and training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients, including monitoring, vent management, and oxygen therapy. Assist in the management of complex cases including trauma and burns, as well as medically and neurologically complicated patients. Manage a diverse patient population, including those with tracheostomies and sleep disorders. Requirements:
Must be RRT credentialed and possess a valid Washington state license. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma environment. Experience with adult trauma and ICU patients is critical. BLS certification required. Availability to work all scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays. Patient Population:
BPICU, SICU, MICU, and NSICU. Patients of all ages, with a smaller pediatric population. A busy emergency department with ECLS transfers and a ventilator load of 4-6 patients per therapist. Facility Highlights:
Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with 500 total staffed beds. Requires solid color scrubs (light blue on the unit). Charting system: Epic. Additional Information:
