The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: Drive improvements in all related manufacturing processes, including those related to products, equipment, and quality. Develop the standard work combination sheet, observation sheet for production. Maintain and control process documentation of production processes. Present project and work updates to customers through presentations and other review meetings. Investigate, incorporate and close out changes to manufacturing procedures. Assist in the shop floor as necessary. Work with Quality Engineers to develop gauging and systems for process control. Troubleshooting and continuous improvement of production processes. Follow prescribed work rules and safety standards. Take ownership of project goals and objectives to ensure project success. Work Experience: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 3-5 years' experience. Experience with CATIA or equivalent required. Previous experience using SharePoint and SAP strongly preferred. Training in shop floor/manufacturing safety required. Experience with GD&T a plus. Exposure to the aerospace industry is strongly preferred. Ability to develop and present business correspondences required. Experience working in ambiguous situations, such as acting when all the information is not available, required. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment but can also be self-directed required. Proficiency with MS Office required. Pay Range: $70,000 - $73,000 Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. Job Type: Full-time Work Requirements: This role is considered an on-site position located in Foley, AL. Mostly shop floor environments with more than half the day spent standing/walking. Occasional office involvement. Substantial amounts of computer work. Heavily regulated industries with strict adherence to procedures. Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early. Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 8 AM to 3 PM. Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
