Regulatory Affairs Associate

Support external customers by providing routine or standard technical information as they transition from certified to exempt from certification colors, commonly known as 'natural' colors. Additionally, support internal customers including Sales, Research & Development, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Marketing by interpreting regulations, addressing external customer needs, and guiding product development through accurate maintenance of product information databases. Responsibilities: Provide technical information to external customers regarding the use of natural colors. Interpret regulations and provide guidance to internal teams, including Sales and R&D. Maintain product information databases accurately. Identify sales restrictions by market and region as dictated by regulatory statutes. Essential Skills: Regulatory affairs expertise. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and synthesize technical information. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint, with the ability to learn internal PLM systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a science discipline such as Food Science or Chemistry. Experience in academic research, such as internships or publication research. Prior experience in regulatory research or documentation is a plus. Secondary language proficiency in Spanish is preferred. Work Environment: The role is based in an office environment, suitable for individuals who enjoy structured and detail-oriented work. It involves desk-based tasks and requires comfort with documentation-heavy responsibilities. This position is less suitable for those seeking creative or highly dynamic environments. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
