Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Avionic Technicians for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Flightline avionics experience required Experience working on F-16s or other fighter/attack aircraft (F-18, F-22, F-35) Experience with avionics testing and troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Must be able to work 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM EST) Must be able to read and write English Must pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide Must be a U.S. Citizen
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Install electrical harnesses and perform operational checks Conduct post-modification testing and troubleshoot avionics systems Repair electrical and avionics systems on aircraft Assist with flight line maintenance including launch and recovery Perform preflight and post-flight inspections and maintenance Support other flightline tasks as assigned
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Experience with general aviation or military aircraft avionics systems Strong work ethic and reliability
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent
WORK HOURS: 4/10 work schedule 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM EST
