Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Maintenance Repair Technician (CNC)
to join a dynamic manufacturing environment. This full-time role is based
on-site in Auburn, NY
and is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery and related electrical and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing maintenance, a solid understanding of ladder logic, and experience working with hydraulic and PLC-controlled equipment.
Duties
Tear down and diagnose mechanical/electrical issues in CNC equipment. Repair or replace damaged parts and reassemble machinery to meet specifications. Perform equipment adjustments and verify operation effectiveness. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions using electrical theory and machine repair knowledge. Conduct electrical tests and troubleshoot printed circuit boards. Interpret and work from schematic diagrams, technical manuals, and testing procedures. Perform preventive maintenance tasks and document repairs accurately. Follow safety protocols and report unusual conditions to supervision. Experience
2 to 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience. Proven experience with
ladder logic circuit diagrams
and
industrial motor controls . Hands-on experience with
CNC maintenance
and troubleshooting. Background in electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial environment. Experience with hydraulics preferred. Military electronics or two-year degree in electronics is a plus. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required). Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience or 1 year with a related degree. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and using diagnostic tools. Authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Ability to work on-site full-time. Must be available to work
2nd Shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm) .
