Tate . Job Type: Full-time, Exempt. Duration: Permanent. Location: Red Lion, PA or Baltimore, MD. Reporting to: Plant Manager (BAL and RL2). This role is part of the Operations team located in Red Lion, PA. About Tate: Tate is an independent brand within Kingspan Group, focused on data center infrastructure solutions and raised access floors. Tate operates across multiple sites globally and is committed to sustainability through Planet Passionate. The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager leads all facets of Environmental Health and Safety, including policy creation, program implementation, reporting, training, workers compensation administration, OSHA compliance, and safety for all workers. Responsibilities include management of environmental laws, standards, and permits and maintaining facility compliance with environmental permit conditions and regulations (air, stormwater, wastewater, solid and/or hazardous waste). What Youll Do Evaluate effectiveness of existing EHS programs; determine the need for additional programs; supervise and support site management in maintaining programs (e.g., LOTO, Confined Space, Hearing Conservation, HazCom). Ensure compliance with all environmental standards, including government permits, programs, and reporting requirements. Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all associates; track certifications and license renewal and maintain records. Prepare reports, records, and plans as required by regulatory permits, plans, or agreements. Manage and maintain ISO 45001 and 14001 certifications. Coordinate and lead the Safety Committee; conduct periodic safety and housekeeping inspections throughout facilities. Identify opportunities for process improvements in safety procedures, risk mitigation, and emergency response planning; implement best practices to enhance safety performance. Maintain and communicate EHS metrics to facility and/or corporate Operations Management; act as the site EHS contact with government EHS agencies and insurers. Lead and/or participate in the investigation of employee concerns, EHS incidents, and employee observations/near misses; develop, implement, and follow up on corrective actions. Design and maintain New Hire Safety Orientation program including providing the required training for newly hired teammates. Handle Workers Compensation matters including ensuring accident reporting procedures are followed at all facilities. Maintain OSHA 300 Log, complete annual reports, and post. Oversee external and internal safety audits and inspections; manage corrective actions for non-compliances. Work with employees at all levels of the organization. Perform other responsibilities and assignments as needed.
Additional Expectations
Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies including the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy. Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, laws, regulations, and market demands. Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System. Raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to a supervisor, manager, Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
What Youll Bring
Bachelors Degree, preferably in Environmental Health and Safety or related subject area Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS; at least 2 years in a management role Previous EHS experience in a manufacturing facility Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA and EPA compliance programs (e.g., LOTO, RCRA, DOT, PPE, Industrial Hygiene) EHS certificates such as CSP, ASP, CIH, or CHMM or similar helpful Experience developing EHS programs including accident investigation, ergonomics, life safety, machine guarding, air permitting, wastewater, business continuity, and workers compensation Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook

Must maintain current certifications for CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations Excellent collaborator with the ability to include multiple parties to achieve objectives Experience delivering training workshops and strong written/spelling/grammar skills Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality Able to travel regularly to manufacturing plants within the division Experience interacting with leadership and employees at all levels Excellent planning and organizational skills
