Long Term Care Ombudsman Program

The Long Term Care Ombudsman program seeks compassionate volunteers to be trained and certified as advocates for Nursing Home and Rest Home Residents on Cape Cod and the Islands. Ombudsman Volunteers help ensure quality of life and care through weekly unannounced visits to facilities where they observe conditions and address resident complaints with appropriate staff. Current placement opportunities available: Nantucket, Buzzards Bay, Falmouth, Sandwich, Mashpee, Hyannis, Harwich, Dennis, Brewster, Chatham.
