The Learning and Development (L&D) team plays a critical role in supporting the growth and performance of our workforce by designing and delivering impactful learning experiences. To expand our capacity and contribute to the future of the learning profession, we propose creating a summer internship opportunity for a student majoring in graphic arts, learning and development, or a related field with a focus on education and training. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience for the intern while enabling the L&D team to innovate on projects and develop a pipeline of future L&D professionals. Responsibilities: The L&D intern will work on a variety of projects that align with their skills and career focus. Below are some potential responsibilities: For a Learning and Development-Focused Intern: Assist in designing and developing eLearning modules, training guides, and job aids using instructional design principles. Research and curate content for learning materials, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Training Support: Support the delivery of live and virtual training sessions by managing logistics, creating pre-session materials, and gathering participant feedback. Data Analysis: Analyze learning metrics (e.g., survey results, completion rates) to identify opportunities for improvement. For a Graphic Design-Focused Intern: Create visually engaging content such as infographics, slide decks, and videos to enhance learning materials. Design templates and branding for L&D resources to ensure a consistent and professional look. Develop animations or interactive elements for eLearning modules. Create short videos or microlearning assets to support on-demand learning. Organize and maintain a library of graphic and multimedia assets for the L&D team.
