America's River Roots Volunteer Opportunities

Ohio River Way, ORSANCO, and MadTree Brewing Company are working in collaboration with the America's River Roots Festival to help keep our city clean before and during the event. This will be done through a river cleanup and waste station management. We look forward to getting out there with you!
October 4th - River Sweep - 8:30am-12:00 noon
Litter pick up, both on foot and by boat, on both sides of the Ohio River at many different sites. If you have your own kayak or canoe you can put in at the Public Landing and collect litter that volunteers cannot access on foot. After the cleanup, enjoy pizza and drinks provided by ORSANCO, American River Roots, Ohio River Way, and MadTree. Sign up by copying the link below into your browser:

you can put in at Schmidt Boat Ramp: 2944 Humbert Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45226 October 8th - 12th - Green Team Stations - Daily with 2 four hour shifts occurring throughout Volunteers will encourage festival goers to make sustainable choices regarding recycling and trash at each waste station. Will take place on both the Ohio and Kentucky riverbanks. To sign up, copy the link below into your browser. Once you plug in your name and email, it will take you to a page where you can select the volunteer option you would like to participate in. Click on River Roots Clean/Green Team. Once you do that, you can select the days and shifts you would like to work. Any day from October 8th-12th.
