Senior Manufacturing Engineer
We're growing our Engineering team and looking for talented Engineers to work in our U.S. Manufacturing Plants. At Schreiber Foods, we deliver high-quality solutions that exceed customer expectations. In our Naturals category, we specialize in transforming externally sourced cheese blocks into consumer-ready formatsshredded, bagged, or resized blocks. This role is all about making that process smarter, faster, and more efficient. As our Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind waste elimination and capacity creation. You'll work hands-on with our existing equipment and cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, reduce scrap, and unlock hidden throughput. Relocation Benefits: Receive a $10,000 relocation bonus PLUS a generous relocation package if relocating more than 50 miles for this position. What you'll do: Lead initiatives to reduce waste, improve yield, and optimize line performance. Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and develop actionable solutions. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and packaging teams to implement improvements. Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis tools. Own KPIs such as throughput, scrap rate, changeover time, and OEE. Support capital projects and equipment upgrades to expand capacity. Champion safety, food quality, and compliance throughout all engineering activities. Occasionally travel (up to 10%) to support cross-plant initiatives or training. What you need to succeed: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field). 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering. Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proven track record in waste reduction and capacity optimization. Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making. Experience with high-speed packaging or food processing equipment preferred. Excellent communication and project management skills. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Ability to travel up to 10%.
