The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Works on moderately complex projects that support the university's quality initiatives. Leads in providing subject matter expertise in multiple quality and technical areas. Influences others in a cooperative, collaborative software development work environment. May make recommendations and highlight opportunities to internal and external stakeholders. Uses judgment and discretion in achieving business outcomes in quality domains. Coordinates and leads work in a team setting. Advocates for and understands competency-based education philosophy. Knowledge of competency-based education philosophy. Knowledge of command line operations. Knowledge of agile methodologies. Expert oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a cooperative, collaborative software development work environment. Ability to coordinate work in a team setting. Ability to conduct simple database queries. Ability to work with Jira or other process management software. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field. 4 years of quality assurance experience. Testing experience in a multi-tiered based architecture. Experience with test case management software. Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for education degree requirements. Generally, equivalent relevant experience is defined as 1 year of experience for 1 year of education and is the discretion of the hiring manager. Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD. Familiarity with scripting tools such as WebDriver. API testing experience using Postman or SoapUI. Familiarity with Bamboo, Jenkins, RSpec, qTest. Familiarity with Banner. Familiarity with Salesforce. Irrepressible technical curiosity.
