Overview
Position Summary: The Community Sales and Leasing Manager coordinates all sales activities within the community. This leader is accountable for the propertys sales, leasing, and occupancy goals. Responsibilities
Coordinate the selling and leasing activities within the Community. Coordinate marketing and advertising efforts with the marketing department to generate leads. Meet, greet and qualify prospects as they visit the Community and ask the appropriate questions to determine buyers or lessees wants and needs. Discuss purchase procedures with prospective buyers. Responsible for the completion of required forms and delivery of executed signed documents to assigned departments. Follow up with prospects. Schedule and show available homes. Attend mandatory sales calls/meetings. Build and maintain relationships with potential residents and their families. Maintain regular contact with leads and referrals. Meet sales and occupancy goals established and communicated by Sales Leadership. Other duties and projects as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Attention to detail Self-motivated and autonomous Knowledge of Property Management and/or MH Industry experience preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Adaptability to ever-changing needs Must possess a positive attitude Ability to be friendly and professional under all circumstances Must be available to work evenings and weekends as required Willingness and ability to present self in a neat, clean and professional manner always throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community Participate in training to comply with new or existing laws Comply with policies and expectations as demonstrated in the Employee Handbook Willingness to achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents. Education
The minimum education qualifications a person needs to perform the essential functions of the job: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred. Experience
3-5 years in sales/leasing experience. Manufactured housing sales preferred. 2+ years of progressive experience in property management leasing or sales preferred. Marketing experience a plus. Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Work Environment
This is an indoor position, predominately working in the office environment. Walking around the community is expected at least 1x per day with flexibility. Seniority level
