We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced environment at Hyundai Mobis. The ideal candidate will work directly with Maintenance management to provide support of the Production process. Responsibilities: Role(s) - Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, supporting structures, and electrical systems of assembly line manufacturing operations by performing the following duties. Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts Fabricates and repairs assembly line support structures such as guards, platforms, lift devices, and related equipment Conduct routine PM checks and log activity Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications: Experience:
5+ years preferred Education: Associate
degree
(AA/AS) Degree Field:
Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering A PLUS IF YOU HAVE: Certified/Technical Skills: Knowledge of Siemens PLC Electrical Controls Basic Understanding of Mechanical drawings Additional/Other: PC literate, including Microsoft Office Products Motor Controls Intermediate PLC Programming and Troubleshooting
