The Automotive Detailer - Recon plays a key role in ensuring our vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for guests while maintaining the organization and appearance of the dealership lot. This position is responsible for both interior and exterior automotive detailing, lot organization, light facility upkeep, and providing support to the sales and service teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Vehicle Care & Detailing Perform thorough interior cleaning, including vacuuming, shampooing, carpet dyeing, panel dressing, and minor interior repairs. Complete exterior washing, waxing, buffing, polishing, and paint touch-up as needed. Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and quality, ensuring they meet dealership standards before delivery or display. Remove trash, scrap materials, oil caddies, and maintain a clean, safe detailing area. Lot & Inventory Support

Move, park, and stage vehicles in an organized manner to maintain an appealing and professional curb presence. Assist with vehicle check-ins and inspections upon arrival, reporting any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot, showroom, and service drive, including snow removal and other physical upkeep duties. Team Support

Collaborate with service staff to ensure vehicles are ready for delivery on schedule. Approach daily tasks with a positive, team-oriented attitude. Facility Maintenance

Assist with general housekeeping of the store, showroom, and service areas. Ensure cleaning and detailing supplies are properly stocked and maintained. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Requirements

Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience:

1 year of previous automotive detailing or lot attendant experience preferred but not required. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is strongly preferred. Previous team-oriented work experience with reliability and a strong work ethic. Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of vehicle cleaning and detailing products, tools, and techniques. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs. Licenses/Certifications:

Valid driver's license with insurable driving record required. Must be 21 years or older for insurability purposes. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
