Learning Content and Systems Administrator (Hybrid) Englewood, CO Summary: The Learning Content and Systems Administrator is a member of the Education Development team. This department delivers education programs, products, and training to Toastmasters members worldwide. The role reports to the Education Development Manager and works independently and as part of a team in a high-functioning, collaborative, fast-paced environment. The administrator will manage the Education Development Teams products and maintain the learning management system (LMS). The role collaborates with Instructional Designers, Content Producers, Subject Matter Experts, and leadership to update and maintain education products and liaises with the LMS vendor to ensure the LMS runs efficiently. The ideal candidate understands the typical product lifecycle and has experience with learning management systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Responsibilities
Maintain and support improvements to the LMS Troubleshoot and resolve LMS issues as they arise Report bugs and unexpected LMS behavior to vendor support, and follow up until resolution Develop relationships with customer support and establish a process for gathering feedback and escalating critical issues Act as a bridge between Education and Information Technology for technical configuration and communication between Toastmasters systems and the LMS Support ongoing LMS improvements by gathering feedback, participating in requirements meetings, and coordinating with vendor and internal teams on implementation and testing Assist with content maintenance in the LMS by uploading files and making small adjustments Train and support team members across the organization in LMS usage tailored to their needs and roles Create and maintain internal processes to support LMS usage Maintain admin access records within the LMS and update as staff roles change Maintain LMS-related documentation and procedures as requested Oversee product review processes and timelines Coordinate content reviews with Content Producer, Graphic Design, Instructional Design, Subject Matter Experts, and other teams Manage file organization to ensure updated files are stored correctly and old files archived Maintain a record of updates to educational content for audits and reference Ensure content files are up-to-date and available for sharing with other departments (e.g., Translations, Graphic Design) Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of all Education products Review quotes and usage to inform quote approvals and ensure product and pricing updates as needed Support organization-wide understanding of long-term education goals Participate in IT meetings to ensure LMS and product updates are represented in the organizations roadmap Liaise with other departments on how the LMS can support initiatives Communicate changes to the education program (including LMS and product updates) throughout the organization as needed Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Education Development Manager Knowledge and Skills
Exceptional organization and attention to detail Strong analysis and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines Ability to follow project plans and meet deliverables Ability to learn new software quickly Up-to-date knowledge of e-learning developments, particularly LMS and Open edX Experience working with learning management systems (Open EdX preferred) Creative and resourceful with outstanding verbal and interpersonal communication Proficiency in Microsoft Office Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience This position is accepting applications until 09/30/2025. Pay Range $76,000 - $80,000 USD Compliance with all company policies, including COVID-19 vaccination/testing and face-covering policies, is a condition of employment. You must have reliable internet access to perform job duties from home. Work authorization is required; sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. This is a hybrid role, with some days remote and some days on-site (typically 3 per week) at 9127 S. Jamaica St., Englewood, CO 80112.
