The Peninsula Hotels Working with a talented team of Food & Beverage professionals, The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a guest-focused Assistant Food & Beverage Outlet Manager. Key Accountabilities
Responsible for all activities of outlet, including staff scheduling, delegation of tasks, supervision of service, reservation monitoring, and ensuring managerial presence on the floor. Train, mentor, motivate, supervise, and assist department managers in disciplining employees. Provide friendly, discreet, and unobtrusive service in greeting, seating, and guest interaction. Manage reservations and seating to meet service standards and maximize revenue. Utilize POS and HOTsos systems according to policies and procedures. This job description is a guide; tasks may be added or removed by your supervisor based on operational needs.
General Requirements
Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in a three-meal period restaurant within a Five-Star hotel. Deep understanding of cuisine, wines, and pairings. Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Hospitality, Business, Marketing). Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.
