We are looking for an experienced and strategic Product Owner to provide leadership within the Reporting & Analytics pillar of the Chief Data Office. In this senior role, you will serve as a bridge between enterprise business units and technical teams, synthesizing and prioritizing requirements from a diverse range of stakeholders. You'll be instrumental in expanding our self-service analytics capabilities, driving data-driven decision-making, and shaping the overall enterprise analytics strategy. The successful candidate will be passionate about leveraging data and analytics to solve business challenges, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster best practices and innovation throughout the organization. Responsibilities Develop, articulate, and update the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for reporting and analytics solutions that support enterprise-wide goals. Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams, advocating for the needs of multiple business units and facilitating consensus. Assess, plan, and prioritize new features and enhancements, balancing business value, user feedback, and technical constraints. Lead cross-functional teamsincluding BI developers, data engineers, and business analyststo deliver robust reporting and analytics products. Monitor product performance and usage metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and maximize business impact. Organize regular stakeholder interviews and feedback sessions to ensure transparency, alignment, and satisfaction in product development. Promote the adoption of advanced analytics and visualization platforms, acting as an ambassador for analytics solutions across the organization. Leadership & Enablement Provide senior leadership within the Reporting & Analytics team, offering mentorship and guidance to junior product owners and analysts. Help shape the enterprise analytics strategy and foster a data-driven culture across business units. Empower business units to build and maintain their own reporting solutions within a governed environment, supporting self-service while upholding data quality and compliance standards. Encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning by sharing best practices across teams. Measurement & Success Drive increased adoption of self-service analytics and advanced reporting capabilities. Achieve high stakeholder satisfaction scores and measurable improvements in reporting efficiency and data quality. Successfully deliver prioritized features on schedule, demonstrating clear business value. Qualifications Required: BS degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience and 8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in product ownership or analytics leadership roles. Extensive experience in agile delivery, product management, and stakeholder engagement within a complex, matrixed enterprise. Proven success in delivering projects and improving business processes. Exceptional communication and influencing skills, able to convey complex analytics concepts effectively to senior leaders and non-technical audiences. Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements. Ability to work flexibly and consultatively, adapting to diverse client needs and dynamic business environments. Preferred: Strong knowledge of enterprise BI platforms (such as Power BI, Tableau), cloud data environments (e.g., Azure, Snowflake), and advanced analytics tools. Experience supporting global clients in financial services, asset/wealth management or a related domain. FINRA Requirements FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role. Work Flexibility This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home. Base Salary Ranges $120,000.00 - $205,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers $132,000.00 - $225,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C. $150,000.00 - $256,000.00 for the location of: New York, California Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
