Senior Project Controls Analyst
to support our internal delivery operations. This role plays a critical part in monitoring project performance, analyzing delivery data, improving operational visibility, and supporting decision-making across the portfolio. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytically strong, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. This is a non-client-facing role and reports to the Director of Operations. Key Responsibilities
Project Controls & Reporting — Track, analyze, and monitor project performance and lifecycle metrics such as timeline, budget, task burn vs completion, revenue, and margin Maintain and enhance internal dashboards for delivery health, resourcing, and financial performance Identify project risks and control gaps through proactive data review Own root cause analysis and action plans Administer project support processes to ensure quality of delivery across projects Business Intelligence & Analytics — Design and maintain project and delivery performance dashboards (Power BI or similar) Develop and automate reporting tools and processes to surface delivery insights to leadership Analyze KPIs to drive efficiency, accountability, and strategic decisions Create forecasts and models for resourcing, pipeline health, and financial outcomes Ensure cleanliness and accuracy of delivery data within AMEND’s data warehouse Process Improvement — Partner with Delivery, Finance, and Operations teams to standardize and improve internal delivery processes Contribute to the development and administration of internal project delivery frameworks and scorecards Support systems integration and data hygiene across tools (e.g., CRM, PSA, accounting) Qualifications
5+ years of experience in project controls, business analysis, or delivery operations (consulting environment preferred) Strong expertise in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) Familiarity with project management systems (e.g., Smartsheet, Mavenlink/Kantata, Monday.com, Asana, or similar) Demonstrated ability to synthesize data into actionable insights Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Experience working with executive stakeholders and sensitive financial/project data What’s in it for you?
