Description and Requirements
General Description:
Responsible for administrative support to the Senior Compliance Specialist. Includes assistance with broker on-boarding and licensing, carrier contracts, and affiliate compliance.
Responsibilities: • Communicate with internal staff regarding open action items relating to compliance requirements. • Validate broker and carrier documentation. Includes compliance/SOX auditing. • Utilize internal systems to manage and track compliance related action items and issues. • Coordinate efforts with team members, especially during on-boarding and audits. Ensure all processes and documentation have been prepared to meet standards. • Communicate regularly with management and other staff members regarding all aspects of administration to ensure service excellence. • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all staff.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Prior administrative experience preferred. • Knowledge of insurance industry preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel. Experience with data entry, formatting, and formulas required. • Ability to stay organized and focused in a busy, team environment. • Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills. • Professional, resourceful, dedicated, and dependable. • Timely, efficient, and accurate administrative and data entry skills.
