brings together Tremco CPG Inc.'s divisions in Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance; Tremco Barrier Solutions Inc.; Dryvit, Nudura, and Willseal brands; Prebuck LLC; Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc.; Weatherproofing Technologies Canada; and PureAir Control Services. The group operates 21 manufacturing facilities, 6 distribution sites, and 3 R&D/technology sites, employing over 2,700 people across North America. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Field Technical Representative ensures proper application of Tremco CPG Modulite products in accordance with all company and industry guidelines by providing on-site application support and problem resolution. Modulite offers solutions for constructing 2D panelized wall systems, 3D modular units, and prefabricated building components. We manufacture exterior wall panels and supply materials to modular manufacturers and panel fabricators, including: Sealants & adhesives Air and weather barriers Spray foams Firestopping Continuous insulation & exterior cladding
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support primary territory product lines independently. Recommend products and solutions beyond primary lines with occasional guidance. Perform site support through general and complex product applications. Analyze substrates using specialized equipment. Stay technically updated on practical procedures and techniques. Collect data for project or product-specific testing and interpret results. Recommend application policies based on technical literature. Coordinate third-party testing, certification, and approvals. Provide live and web-based training for staff and external customers, including hands-on demonstrations and clear communication of products and practices. Assess design and application compliance with local codes, standards, and regulations.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Construction, or related field preferred, with 2-4 years of construction or industry experience, or High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of construction or industry experience.
EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years of experience in EIFS/Plastering application. Experience with metal or exterior wall panels. Strong listening, attention to detail, and construction knowledge. Understanding of product application and technical design tools. Knowledge of chemical properties relevant to products. Customer service skills including needs assessment and satisfaction evaluation.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent communication skills, teamwork, proficiency in Microsoft Office. Emotional intelligence, adaptability, feedback acceptance, presentation skills, interpersonal and organizational skills.
