POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinate all shop service activities with objectives to promote, maintain, and continually improve processes, employee relations, employee safety, protection of facility assets, product quality, and on time delivery of products. This position is responsible for successfully managing all shop service and repair orders to ensure service orders are executed to Kelvion quality standards and customer commitments and expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES • Employee Safety- Protect, Promote, and Improve. • Have a working knowledge of Power Network Module production, quality control, and overall function. • Assist Training Coordinator in establishing and maintaining comprehensive training matrix, and communicating company policies procedures, and objectives • Administers company safety program to include performing safety audits when necessary and stressing the importance of safety to all employees • Provide leadership and vision to the organization by assisting with the development of long range and annual plans, and with the evaluation and reporting of progress plans. • Maintains accurate records of all training, attendance, and disciplinary actions for PNM Assembly Team. • Provides technical input to Team on opportunities to reduce re-work and improve First Pass Yield across all lines. • Maintains client visible production trackers and internally broadcasted production goals, charts, diagrams • Perform Audits of safety and production procedures • All other duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES) • Basic understanding of manufacturing safety standards • Ability to read blueprints and diagrams • Proficient with MS office suite • Knowledge of basic quality standards • Troubleshooting skills • Adaptability in a high pace environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels) • High School Diploma or GED • Must have experience in a functional supervisory position in at least one of the following: scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, or line supervision. • Experience in lean manufacturing concepts.
