General Summary
Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, it provides efficient and accurate support to achieve loan production goals.
Performs all phases of processing, funding and post funding quality control of commercial real estate and business loans. Assists branches and other departments with requests and inquiries relating to loan processing; and provides administrative support to supervisors and others in Business Banking.
Principal Accountabilities (95%) Coordinates with third parties and maintains on-going communication with Relationship Officer(s), Underwriter(s), Borrower(s) in collecting pertinent items needed to satisfy closing conditions. Assumes responsibility for the verification of information collected to prepare loan documents. Ensures timely loan closure by preparing loan documentation, coordinating loan signing and funding with Escrow. Perfects collateral liens through UCC filing, Real Estate loan document recording confirmation, DMV file to DMV department. Completes covenant tracking process and maintains tracking reports. Prepare collateral file for post funding Quality Control. Follow up post-closing items; escrow closing statement and Final Title policy. Responds timely to daily emails and phone calls to provide excellent member service. Handles restricted lines of credit and fund-control accounts. Completes research and correction for general ledger transactions. Assists with tasks relating to loan servicing. Secondary Accountabilities (5%)
Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with BSA requirements as commensurate with position.
Position Requirement and Qualifications
Abilities:
Excellent abilities with details, organization, communication, time-management, customer service, and problem-solving. Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
Demonstrate flexibility and motivation with the desire to work in a team environment; ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Knowledge, Education, Certifications, Licenses:
Strong working knowledge of credit union business lending products, policies, and procedures; business and commercial real estate processing requirements; LaserPro application and DNA core system or similar applications or programs; business entities; and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Experience:
One to Three years of work experience in a comparable work environment to gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to handle all aspects of the position or equivalent.
