Overview
Base pay range: $110,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr. This requisition is part of Pearsons K-12 School Technology group that develops innovative assessment technology platforms to deliver exams to test takers, and score and report results. We are building the next generation of assessment platforms and experiences using state-of-the-art technologies and processes. We are looking for outstanding candidates to bolster the staff of this critical work. Multiple Full-Stack Software Engineers will be recruited through this requisition. These positions are developer-focused and require proficiency with current technologies including Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, VueJS, Python, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Responsibilities
Analyze & Design - Create design models from requirements and ensure artifacts effectively model customer requirements. Implement & Perform - Implement designs following coding standards and industry best practices; develop high-quality code. Review - Participate in requirements, design and code reviews. Test & Deployment - Collaborate with QA, configuration management, and end users to release high-quality software; write and execute unit tests. Quality / Process Improvement - Participate in activities to improve process and product quality. Required Experience
Experience as a full-stack engineer with Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, VueJS, Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB Experience with Cloud AWS hosted applications Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent technology discipline Software development experience creating SaaS applications Experience with development, maintenance, and testing of software following industry best practices Experience with highly available, highly concurrent web-based applications Experience with GIT or similar VCS tools Experience working in an agile environment Desirable Experience
Experience working with a range of AI tools and LLMs Desire to expand knowledge in many development languages, applications, and tools Quickly learn new processes and tools, business domains and technical applications Able to think technically and analytically Understanding of architecture philosophy Ability to distill information, apply experience and provide solution alternatives Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure, plan, set priorities, adapt to change, and meet timelines Self-starter and detail-oriented Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work within a team Bonus Experience

Compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including skill set, level of experience, and location. The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 per year.
