Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Quality Engineering Intern to join our team! This internship offers a valuable opportunity to learn how a modern aerospace/defense manufacturing facility manages quality systems to ensure production flight hardware meets stringent requirements. You will gain hands-on experience supporting inspections, quality audits, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and implement the controls to maintain compliance with aerospace and defense quality standards (AS9100D, NADCAP). Review Engineering Drawings and CAD models to develop inspection plans Support internal audits, corrective/preventive action activities, and process improvement projects. Support manufacturing non-conformances and develop controls to prevent reoccurrence of defective parts Manage internal document control system and support with technical writing of procedures and manufacturing instructions. Verify part manufacturing data against customer requirements to ensure acceptance of production hardware. Contribute to the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including work instructions, checklists, and records. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications:

Major: Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Education: Completed Sophomore Year in a relevant major. Clearance: Secret clearance preferred but not required. Duration: Fall semester, specific start and end flexible Availability: Part time employment Why Apply:
