Overview

We are partnering with our Portland, OR consumer products client to recruit an eCommerce Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, either hybrid in Portland or fully remotely on a PST schedule. In this role, you will be responsible for managing integrated marketing, technical and digital sales responsibilities that guide seamless D2C eCommerce experiences and drive growth in this channel. You will work closely with marketing teams to integrate technology, drive campaigns and optimize the eCommerce experience to drive conversion. You will be the master of the company's eCommerce platform and digital experience. This role is responsible for creating data-informed strategy for the eCommerce department, and you will work closely with company leadership to ensure consistency, growth, product sales and ROI from the company's site, and you will oversee a small team of direct reports. To be a fit, you should bring 5+ years of eCommerce experience with some experience as a manager-level or similar strategic player. This role blends tactical execution and strategic planning, and you should be comfortable being in the weeds of the day-to-day of this department. Shopify, Magento or WooCommerce experience is required for consideration, as well as knowledge of SEO/SEM, email marketing, paid ads and similar. Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Responsibilities Manage overarching eCommerce strategy across marketing, technology and sales enablement, focused on scaling the brand's digital sales footprint, driving ROI and conversion, and increasing brand footprint Own budget, strategy and team leadership for the department, working closely with senior leaders to report on opportunities, departmental analytics and more Drive results from the company's D2C site, reviewing historical strategy, identifying areas of opportunity and implementing new strategy based on data and research Partner closely with marketing and technology teams to create integrated campaigns and web experiences that drive product sales and conversion Oversee a small team of direct reports and guide tactical work in SEO/SEM, paid ads, optimized content and product listings, etc.

Qualifications

5+ years of D2C eCommerce experience in the consumer products world Experience managing small teams of direct reports Excellent technical and strategic knowledge with experience collaborating closely with relevant teams, including marketing, technology, operations and leadership functions In-depth technical aptitude in D2C eCommerce platforms, Shopify, Magento or WooCommerce, with experience managing complex integrations Foundational knowledge in marketing and technical functions like SEO, email marketing, UX/UI, etc.
