GIS Intern (Summer 2026)

In the role of GIS Intern, we'll count on you to: Create high quality maps using ArcGIS Pro Collect data from the internet, agencies, field work, etc. Perform spatial analysis for NEPA documents Create and publish maps in ArcGIS Online Perform fieldwork including GIS data collection Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals' programs Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of ArcGIS software packages related to field of study/industry Pursuing a degree in Geography, Planning, Computer Science, or closely related field Required Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate environmental science, biology, environmental Engineering or related program Attention to detail Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills Basic Microsoft Office skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe: HDR is our company.
