We are seeking a Systems Administrator to own the deployment, maintenance, and support of software and tools across our manufacturing lines. This role blends traditional system administration with elements of network administration, focusing on ensuring production systems are secure, reliable, and optimized for factory operations. Youll collaborate with engineers, operators, and cybersecurity experts to keep our manufacturing environment running smoothly at scale. Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and maintain software applications and services on manufacturing line systems. Own the end-to-end lifecycle of manufacturing software tools, including updates, patches, and service continuity. Support station and endpoint deployments, ensuring integration with production environments. Monitor system and network performance across the factory floor, proactively resolving issues. Implement and enforce system security, user access controls, and compliance standards. Troubleshoot software, endpoint, and network connectivity issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with development, factory engineering, and cybersecurity teams to ensure reliability and secure configurations. Document deployment procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides. Research and recommend improvements to enhance scalability, resiliency, and performance. Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Systems or Network Administrator, ideally supporting manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux system administration. Experience with deploying and maintaining enterprise or factory software applications. Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLAN) and endpoint management. Proficiency in troubleshooting software and hardware issues in production environments. Solid understanding of endpoint security and user access management. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and in cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP, or factory scheduling tools. Familiarity with OT networks, industrial control systems, or SCADA. Exposure to automation tools for system deployment and configuration. Knowledge of cloud and hybrid infrastructure (Azure, AWS). Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Azure Administrator, CCNA). Salary US Salary Range: $124,000 - $168,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
