Join our dynamic team and take on the challenge of supporting client-specific development of our client's cutting-edge BI solution. We are seeking an experienced Azure Databricks Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Azure Databricks environment, ensuring seamless data processing and analytics operations. This position is located in our Arlington, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Other hybrid locations Belton, TX, Lafayette, LA, Knoxville, TN, Lebanon, VA. Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder. Your future duties and responsibilities: Manage and administer Azure Databricks environments, including cluster configuration, scaling, and performance tuning. Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to optimize data pipelines and workflows. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability. Develop and maintain documentation related to the Azure Databricks environment. Provide support and training to users on best practices and efficient use of Databricks. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 3+ years' experience as an Azure Databricks Administrator or similar role. Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and Databricks platform. Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $97,000.00 - $169,100.00.
