Base pay range
$180,000.00/yr - $195,000.00/yr Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, or related field (required). Relevant certifications such as AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, PMI-SP (preferred). 20+ years of experience, preferably in airport or large-scale infrastructure projects. Proven leadership in managing project controls teams. Experience with projects valued over $500 million. Familiarity with various delivery methods including Progressive Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and CMAR. Familiarity with PMIS systems; CAD or REVIT experience is a plus. Strong communication skills and industry knowledge. Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive. Ability to collaborate across diverse technical and educational backgrounds. Key Responsibilities
Governance & Compliance Notify Project Managers of key dates for Steering/BOAC submissions. Draft and manage Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) forms including Needs Assessments, Project Charters, and Change Forms. Upload and maintain documentation in SharePoint. Ensure timely distribution of Steering decks. Executive & Audit Support Coordinate financial and contractual audits. Provide required documentation to auditors. Monitor compliance with PMIS (currently PMWeb) and ensure records are current. Reporting & Information Management Maintain project lists and cost breakout sheets. Generate monthly TDIP reports covering cost, schedule, risk, staffing, and compliance. Host ~13 monthly reporting meetings with PMs. Resource Management Develop staffing plans for new TDIP projects. Draft position descriptions and support recruitment efforts. Maintain organizational charts and personnel tracking spreadsheets. Program Controls & Budget Oversight Guide project controls teams to ensure consistency with LAWA policies. Monitor and control costs against approved budgets. Ensure timely and accurate payments to all stakeholders. Schedule & Change Management Develop and maintain project schedules aligned with milestones. Enforce Change Advisory Board (CAB) procedures to manage changes. Track and document all CAB items and proposed changes. Maintain TDIP risk registers in coordination with project teams and risk managers. Identify and process potential change orders per CAB procedures. Seniority level
