Responsibilities
Assist with management of the annual plan audits, plan compliance, government filings (Forms 5500 and 1095/1094-C, PCORI, etc.) and testing Effectively manage relationships with third-party vendors, internal customers, and consultants Oversee vendor contractual adherence and renewals in coordination with procurement team to ensure timely invoice remittance within annual budget Coordinate leave management among employees, their supervisors, and third-party administrators Maintain/oversee compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations such as HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, GDPR, and ERISA Assist with management of global health and retirement plans Work with consultant/broker to ensure each local country benefit is market competitive Complete regularly scheduled reviews of each country Assist in strategy and day to day management of the Wellness program Coordinate and conduct events at various locations such as Annual Enrollment meetings and onsite screenings Champion improved benefit design, communications, and engagement through a global lens of diversity and inclusion Assist with management of the 401(k) and executive benefits programs, including coordinating benefit committee meetings Utilize available systems to administer benefits for local and remote workforce Manage special projects pertaining to health and welfare administration Qualifications
5+ years of Benefits experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred Advanced knowledge in Excel is preferred Expertise in the various federal and state regulations governing benefits plans Some international benefits experience is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong focus on excellent customer service and attention to detail Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills to handle multiple projects Ability to work both independently and in small task force groups Ability to excel in a fast paced, dynamic environment Experience with Oracle, Alight (or similar third-party administrator) and Fidelity systems preferred Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits. At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,850 - $144,750.
