Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Server Storage Engineer with deep expertise in VMware, Windows OS, backup technologies (Cohesity), and storage systems (Nasuni).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing server infrastructure, backup and recovery solutions, and storage environments across enterprise platforms.

This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with cloud platforms, and the ability to work in a 24x5 rotational shift environment.

Key Responsibilities Backup Administration Configure and manage Cohesity backup solutions, including agent installations and cluster setup. Perform firmware upgrades and configure backup policies for Windows, Linux, SQL, Oracle, Exchange, and VMs. Troubleshoot backup failures and manage restore operations. Create and maintain retention policies and automate backup reporting. Coordinate with vendors for backup and storage support. Support disaster recovery (DR) setup and ensure data consistency. Manage backup storage devices such as Nasuni or similar platforms. Storage Management Configure, install, and administer HP Nimble, ECS, and PowerScale storage systems. Perform LUN creation, allocation, deletion, and RAID configuration. Monitor storage environments using tools like SolarWinds. Conduct firmware updates and manage storage pools. Perform host connectivity checks and troubleshoot ISCSI storage networks. Support storage migrations (host-to-host or storage-to-storage). Maintain reporting and monitoring systems for storage performance. Server & Virtualization Administer virtualized environments including VMware vSphere, ESXi, VxRail, and vCenter. Perform Linux patching and scripting tasks. Configure and maintain Windows Server environments (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019). Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions. Collaborate with IT teams to optimize server performance and security. Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices. Monitoring & Deployment Use SCOM and SCCM for system health monitoring, software deployment, and compliance. Manage Active Directory (AD) including user accounts, group policies, and authentication services. Required Qualifications

Proven experience with VMware, Windows OS, Cohesity backup systems, and Nasuni storage. Strong knowledge of storage technologies (HP, Dell EMC, UCS). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP). Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and Excel for reporting. Experience with CI/CD tools and monitoring platforms. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in a rotational 24x5 shift environment. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with advanced storage migration strategies. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools. Exposure to enterprise-level infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
