Abbvie Business Data & Analytics Internship
Envision spending your summer working with energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders, all while gaining world-class experience in one of the most dynamic organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a reality for AbbVie Interns. Join AbbVie's Business Data & Analytics (ACA) team for a high-impact summer internship that blends data, storytelling, and purpose. You'll be part of a cross-functional group committed to transforming how patients access carethrough smart analytics and meaningful insights that drive decisions. As a Business & Data Analytics Intern, you'll: Dive into real-world datasets across patient support programs, call center operations, and access initiatives. Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the patient journey. Create dashboards, visualizations, or reports to communicate insights to business leaders. Work alongside data analysts, patient journey experts, and operations teams. Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings on transforming the patient experience. Present your findings to senior stakeholders at the end of the program. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor's in: Data Analytics, Business Administration, Health Informatics, Economics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship. Expected graduation date between December 2026 June 2027. Preferred Qualifications (Optional) A curious mind and a passion for using data to solve real problems. Basic proficiency in Excel and either Power BI, Tableau, or SQL. Strong communication skills, especially in presenting findings clearly. A collaborative spirit and an eagerness to learn in a professional setting. Some exposure to data storytelling, healthcare systems, or operations is a plus!
