Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Director of Human Resources
to join the leadership team of a growing healthcare organization. This role will oversee all HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, performance management, and training and development. The Director of HR will be instrumental in shaping HR strategies, policies, and programs that support organizational growth and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with company goals. Partner with leadership to identify workforce needs and development opportunities. Talent Acquisition & Retention
Lead recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-performing talent. Design onboarding and retention programs to enhance employee experience. Employee Relations & Engagement
Build and maintain a collaborative workplace culture. Advise managers and employees on performance, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Implement engagement initiatives to improve satisfaction and reduce turnover. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.). Maintain accurate employee files and HR documentation. Monitor regulatory changes and update policies as needed. Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Oversight
Administer benefits programs to ensure competitive offerings. Collaborate on compensation structures aligned with benchmarks. Training & Development
Develop professional growth programs for managers and staff. Address skill gaps with targeted training. Culture & Organizational Development
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred). 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with 35 years in leadership. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices (healthcare or pharmacy preferred). HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) are a plus. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth environment. Why Join Us
