Job Title
Performs a variety of technical and supportive tasks to assist daily clinical operations. Performs routine and delegated duties according to departmental policies. 40 hours per week. 4 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, Day Shift, Hours will vary from 6am-11:30pm. Essential Functions: Prepares operating rooms for surgery by cleaning and sterilizing equipment and surfaces. Assists surgical team with use of instruments and supplies. Maintains inventory of surgical supplies and equipment. Assists clinical staff with transferring and positioning patients as needed. Education Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Licensure Requirement: (not specified) Certifications: BLS Certification, preferred. Skills: Basic understanding of mechanical equipment. Self-starter who requires little or no supervision. Ability to respond appropriately to life threatening situations. Effective multitasking, interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills Ability to work under pressure in a stressful environment. Working knowledge of supply chain or materials management. Working knowledge of surgical and anesthesia procedures. Experience: Previous health care experience, preferred.
