Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects from conceptual through final bid. Analyze project documents, blueprints, and specifications to determine scope, risks, and requirements. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather accurate pricing information. Develop subcontractor and supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and reliable bids. Participate in pre-construction meetings and contribute to project planning. Maintain current knowledge of market conditions, labor rates, and material costs. The ideal candidate will have at least 7+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor, specifically within commercial construction. They must be proficient in estimating software, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
