Key Functions
Safely deliver materials Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures Maintaining appropriate paperwork and logbooks Knowledgeable of D.O.T regulations Conducting and documenting Pre-Trips and Post-Trips Observe and report mechanical and safety failures Complies with federal and state traffic laws Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing At times, participate in labor assignments Maintain a safety-first mindset Works well under the direction of Construction Supervisors Qualifications
Must have a Valid Class A CDL Driver's License Minimum five (5) years of driving experience strongly preferred flat bed, step deck, low boy with 2 years of verified heavy haul experience Preferred Experience in Construction type equipment Specific Skills
Work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations Effective communication, interpersonal and time management skills Positive Attitude and be dependable Team oriented with the ability to work independently when necessary Self- starter Ability to trouble shoot Work schedule typically Monday - Friday and home on weekends but may vary depending on job. Move safely, quickly, and perform duties with repetitious movement Reach with hands and arms Bend at the waist, kneel, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull Climb ladders/steps Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, and vibrations
