Industrial Manufacturing Analyst

for a company that is a leading provider of hydraulic components in the industrial marketplace. This is a full-time on-site role, Monday through Friday 8-5pm.

ABOUT THE ROLE: The Industrial Manufacturing Analyst focuses on analyzing processes, streamlining workflows, and implementing strategies that improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. This position blends engineering principles with data analysis, leadership, and problem-solving. The analyst also works closely with internal teams, including sales, customer service, quality, and manufacturing, as well as external partners, to ensure customer needs are met through high-quality designs and accurate cost projections.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and support continuous improvement projects in collaboration with engineering and operations. Communicate with management, clients, vendors, and staff to align goals and progress. Design and implement systems for inventory, logistics, and material flow. Estimate production costs, analyze savings opportunities, and assess design changes. Review drawings/specifications and provide feedback on customer requirements. Develop production schedules and update order routings as needed. Maintain and improve quality control procedures to meet standards and reduce defects. Conduct time studies and data analysis to recommend process improvements. Support a culture of safety, urgency, and accountability while meeting delivery and profitability targets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in industrial/manufacturing engineering or related field, or 2+ years equivalent experience. 2-3 years' experience in industrial manufacturing/OEM setting preferred. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, Epicor and CAD experience a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and solve process issues. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with data analysis and statistics. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills; able to clearly explain complex technical information. Excellent organization, time management, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and automation. Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis, statistics, and continuous improvement methods. Sound judgment, decision-making, and ability to stay objective under pressure. Hands-on ability to use measurement tools (tape measures, calipers) and apply basic math/engineering principles. Tech-savvy, adaptable, and committed to ongoing learning and professional growth. Collaborative team player who fosters strong working relationships and contributes to a positive culture. Additional:

Valid driver's license; Six Sigma Green Belt or quality certifications a plus. Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, including the use of PPE.
