POSITION OVERVIEW

JOB SUMMARY:

Position may perform a variety of services to support the Facility Management Mission. These services may include but not limited to: Grounds and Landscape services; mowing, string trimming, clearing of leaves and debris; Facility Maintenance Support Specialist; assisting with trades such as Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Locksmith, Plumbing, Painting, and Refrigeration; Special events; perform event setups/takedown, move furniture, handling surplus property. The person in this position would use a variety of power and hand tools such as but not limited to: Drills, pressure washers, hammers, saws, testing equipment, lawn mowers, string trimmer, forklift, hand truck and moving equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic computer skills. Knowledge of safety guidelines, safe lifting techniques, safe hauling techniques, and safe use of small to medium sized gas powered machinery. A valid Driver License is required.
