Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Complete daily pre-opening safety inspections of slides and attractions Respond to attraction shutdowns during park operation and safely return the attraction to operation Perform complex carpentry related tasks and projects Maintain all proper safety policies and procedures General upkeep of the park facilities Pool cleaning and water testing Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees Assist customers with any questions regarding Rapids Waterpark including facility layout and amenities Follow all park policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age High School diploma or GED equivalent Minimum two years of carpentry experience Basic knowledge of proper usage of tools and equipment Pool experience and CPO preferred Swimming ability required Ability to accept guidance and supervision and work well under pressure Ability to communicate effectively with public, customers and staff members in a polite and expedient manner Be aware, attentive, and work well with others Energy and enthusiasm for long days Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection Physical Demands:

Must be able to work outside in the park at various times throughout the year Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing and speech Requires standing, kneeling and bending Requires walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling Requires occasional lifts and carries up to 50 to 70 pounds Requires occasional carries up to 100 pounds with the assistance of a two-wheel hand truck
