for an experienced
HR Generalist . This position plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations with a focus on
payroll administration ,
employee relations ,
benefits management , and ensuring
compliance with federal, state, and local employment and tax regulations . This is an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys having an impact across multiple areas of HR. Responsibilities
Process and manage
bi-weekly payroll
in compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local wage and hour laws. Serve as a point of contact for
employee relations
matters, conducting investigations and recommending appropriate resolutions. Administer
benefits programs , including open enrollment, employee communications, and vendor coordination. Ensure compliance with all applicable
U.S. employment laws
and
payroll tax regulations , including FLSA, FMLA, ACA, and IRS requirements. Support annual audits, reporting requirements, and records management related to payroll and benefits. Partner with management to implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and payroll systems. Own with onboarding, offboarding, and policy communication. Manage one direct report. Qualifications
35 years of HR experience , with direct experience in
payroll processing ,
employee relations , and
benefits administration . Strong working knowledge of
U.S. payroll and employment tax laws . Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g. Workday, TriNet, etc.). Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality. PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus but not required. Compensation & Benefits
