Polymerization Process Engineer
The advanced materials manufacturing industry Polymerization Process Engineer will: Develop and scale polymer and dope processes from R&D through pilot and commercial production. Design sustainable, efficient chemical manufacturing processes for high-performance materials. Lead technical development in capital projects and process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, operations, and R&D teams to ensure seamless scale-up. Maintain compliance with process safety standards (PSM) and industry best practices. Stay current with polymer science advancements and apply new methods to manufacturing. The advanced materials manufacturing industry ideal candidate will: Hold a Ph.D. (preferred) or Master's in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field. Have 5+ years of experience in chemical process development, including industrial solution polymerization. Demonstrate strong knowledge of polymer chemistry and structure-property relationships. Show proven success scaling R&D processes to full commercial production. Have hands-on experience with pilot plant operations and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
