Occupational Therapy - Duties of Contractor/Service Provider :-
Occupational Therapist job involves providing specialized services to students to help them participate in daily school activities by addressing physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges . This includes evaluating students' needs, developing intervention plans, teaching skills for self-care and classroom participation, recommending adaptive equipment, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Screening and assessment, including completion of written reports;
• Participating in the development of appropriate IEPs and/or IFSPs;
• Participating in IEP or IFSP team meetings as necessary;
• Planning and implementing child/student/family services;
• Communicating with families/guardians as agreed upon;
• Providing consultation with teachers, families, and respective service agencies;
• Monitor completion of required services on IEP/IFSP;
• Document response to therapy and consultation using appropriate Clientforms;
• Submitting completed Medical Assistance logs to the Office of Special Education by the 10th day of the following month;
• Adhere to state requirements for supervision of assistants and provide documentation of the supervision;
• All billable hours are to be provided in a facility, private school or Infants/Toddlers Program location (child's natural environment);
